Rett Harmon

Owner, Century 21 Novus & Southern Roots Group

Rett Harmon has been a licensed real estate professional for 16 years in both Georgia and Alabama. He is both an active agent and co-owner of Century 21 Novus Realty, a firm in Carrollton, GA that has over 30 agents and 11 employees that specialize in both property management and the sale of homes, farms, land, commercial properties and investment properties. Rett began selling real estate while attending the University of West Georgia where he earned his Bachelors degree in Business Administration. In 2008, Rett and his business partner, Curtis North, formed a property management company that currently manages over 450 properties. Rett also co- leads Southern Roots Group, a 10 member agent team that closed 187 transactions in 2016. Rett enjoys sharing and presenting relevant best practices through video, contributing to real estate publications, as well as in person at multiple international, national and regional Real Estate Industry events. In the past, Rett has served as President of his local board of REALTORS®, Chair of the State Young Professionals Network (YPN), and is the current Regional Director of Georgia REALTORS® Region 3 and Chair of Technology. Some of Rett’s most significant achievements include being named the REALTOR® of the Year by West Metro Board of REALTORS®, and also receiving the WCR Entrepreneur of the Year. He has also received the YPN Young Achiever Award in conjunction with being recognized by the NAR for his achievements in Commercial real estate industry. On top of all of this, Rett was also a GAR Leadership Academy Graduate and a Graduate of the City of Carrollton Citizens Police Academy. He continues advancing his knowledge of the real estate profession by attending various conferences and classes. Additionally, he is an Eagle Scout and the founder of Retro Mobile DJ Services, an amusing secondary job that he started in high school which he still actively operates today. Rett, his wife, and their three children reside in Carrollton, Georgia. His hobbies include hunting, coaching little league baseball, spending time outdoors at Lake Wedowee and DJ-ing.
